You cancelled my order, but my card shows a charge.
When you make a purchase on our online store, your credit card is not charged immediately. Instead, the card processor verifies with your bank or credit card issuer to ensure sufficient available credit to complete the purchase. During this process, your bank places a temporary hold (or “pending charge”) on the transaction amount.
Once we verify your order details—such as the shipping address—are correct, the transaction is processed. If, however, we cannot complete the order (e.g., due to an out-of-stock item), the order is canceled, and the hold is released. Please note that this hold is not an actual charge.
It typically takes 3–5 business days for the bank to clear the pending hold, though some banks or credit card issuers may take longer. Rest assured, you are never charged for canceled orders.
