Important Note

Here is the information on the XA-171-A-L-P that is needed when replacing a XA-17-A-L-P.

Note the XA-17-A-L-P had the smaller bracket pin (XE-06356-P) 1.120 OD

 

When replacing XA-17-A-L-P with the new designed Generation 2 (2021) XA-171-A-L-P customers need to be aware that the pin size is different.  They will need to change the bushings in their mounting brackets to allow for the XA-171-A-L-P to be mounted on the brackets.

 

  • If they have the 1 piece (flat bottom bushing) used on the integrated plate mount (also known as the stationary dog bone mount) then they will need to order XB-0012-3 bushing (1 per side / 2 total) to replace the XB-0011-2.
  • If they have the 2 pieces on each side bushing (ILS style for both sliding and stationary mount) then they will need to order the XB-12311 bushing (2 per side / 4 total) to replace the XB-10605.  The outside footprint is the same, it is the hole for the bracket pin that is different.
  • The XA-171-A-L-P comes with the larger 1.5 OD bracket pin, Part Number XA-12293-P
