The 3282 and 3283 3-way Solenoid Valves can be plumbed two ways;

1. Normally open is used with air engaged fan clutches with Normally Closed Thermal Switch, or use with all spring engaged fan clutches mostly used with Normally Open Switches on Freightliner, KW, Peterbilt, Western Star, Volvo
2. Normally closed is used with air engaged fan clutches with Normally Open Thermal Switch mostly used with Normally Closed Switches on Navistar and Ford
3. All ports are 1/2in NPT Female
