Our 7/8-inch diameter square U-bolts are custom-bent to your exact specifications. Primarily engineered for suspension, leaf spring, and body mounting, these heavy-duty fasteners are built to be torqued and are not for ornamental use.
We cold-bend our steel U-Bolts on a hydraulic bender to maintain metal grain orientation for maximum strength.

📏 How to Measure Your U-Bolt
Please read these instructions carefully before ordering. Use your product image as a reference:
“C” = Inside Width: Measure the exact inside width of the bend.
“L” = Inside Length: Measure from the highest point inside to the very bottom of the leg.
“T” = Thread Length: Thread lengths are predetermined based on total rod length. (See below Predetermined Approximate Thread Lengths)
💡 Important Length Note: Your delivered “L” measurement may be up to 3/4″ longer than ordered. We calculate total rod length using even numbers (C + (L × 2)) and rounding to the next even length to ensure your U-bolt is never shorter than you need.
🛠️ Fitment & Torque Behavior
Spring-Back Notice: Because of the spring-like nature of steel, small-diameter U-bolts (1/2″ and smaller) may measure slightly wider upon arrival.
Self-Conforming: When properly torqued, the U-bolt will naturally conform to the shape of the item it fits over.
⚙️ Thread & Rod Specifications
Thread Type: We use SAE (fine) threads exclusively.
Maximum Strength: Threads are rolled between dies rather than cut for maximum strength.
No Re-Threading: The unthreaded stock is slightly smaller in diameter than the threads. They cannot be threaded further by the user.
